The Renaissance Curaçao resort is back, as the Dutch Caribbean island of Curacao has begun to welcome back American travelers.
The resort recently completed a broad renovation project that included a new look for its popular Infinity Beach Club.
The resort has also redesigned its casino as the Wind Creek Carnival Casino, named after parent company Wind Creek, which purchased the resort in 2017 (along with its sister resort in Aruba).
That’s along with an upgraded Blue Bar and a new aesthetic in the guest rooms featuring local ceramic art and a “vibrant yet subtle color palette,” according to the property.
The 237-room resort, set in the heart of Curaçao’s capital, Willemstad, has reopened with a series of health and safety protocols covering both local and Marriott corporate guidelines.
The resort is also offering free rapid antigen tests on site, thanks to a partnership with Medical Laboratories Services. That helps guest comply with the CDC requirements for returning U.S. travelers.
A new-look guest room.
Curacao is currently open for tourism; all travelers to the island need to show proof of a negative PCR test within 72 hours of travel. You can find more here.
