You’re in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, with a few small islands in sight.

There is nothing but the sound of the wind and the light rush of water. And then the sand ends, and the sea begins, and there you are, walking on water.

Sandbars like this are one of the marvelous features of the Exumas chain of the Bahamas, the place with perhaps the most beautiful water on earth. Locals call it “Windex,” but you can just call it a natural wonder.

St. Regis Bahia Beach Launches “Boathouse Club” for Teens

 

While many top resorts around the Caribbean have offerings geared toward young children, one Puerto Rico luxury hotel has launched a new experienced aimed at teenage guests.

It’s called The Boathouse Club, and it’s the newest idea from the St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort in Puerto Rico.

The club includes offerings like a zip lining adventure in the El Yunque rainforest, nature photography workshops, camping experiences in bird sanctuaries, evening kayak nature tours and movie nights on the beach, among others.

The new club complements the hotel’s existing Iguana Club for kids.
