LIAT Returns to St Thomas

By the Caribbean Journal staff

Regional Caribbean carrier LIAT has launched its newest route in the region.

The airline has officially begun service between Antigua and St Thomas in the US Virgin Islands.

It’s actually a return for LIAT, which discontinued its service in the US Virgin Islands last year.

The carrier is operating three weekly flights from Antigua to St Thomas’ Cyril E. King International Airport.

LIAT is operating the service on a 48-seat aircraft.

For the moment, it does not seem likely that LIAT will resume its flights to St Croix, however.
