It’s the latest new service to the Caribbean out of Newark, which has seen its position grow in recent years as a jumping off point for flights to the wider region.

Indeed, earlier this month, United announced a new nonstop route from Newark to Curacao, while JetBlue recently launched year-round flights from Newark to Barbados.

For Puerto Rico, the new daily flights are the latest in what has been a rapid expansion of service to the destination, from a major ramp up by Delta to another new daily flight on American Airlines.
