Winair’s New Haiti Flights

Regional Caribbean air carrier Winair has launched new service to Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

The new service between St Maarten and Haiti is begin operated by Sunrise Airways on Airbus A320 aircraft.

While Sunrise is operating the flight, all seats are sold and marketed by Winair, according to the company.

The flights will include 138 economy seats and 12 business class seats, with flights operating on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The flights depart Haiti at 8:15 AM and return from St Maarten at 12 PM.

Radisson Blu Coming to Costa Rica

Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group is adding a major new property in the Caribbean Basin.

The company has announced the signing of a new Radisson Blue in Costa Rica.

The new-build hotel will feature 100 rooms, with plans to break ground in late 2018 and a projected opening date of December 2020.

The new Radisson Blu Resort and Spa Papagayo, Costa Rica will be located in Guanacaste in the northwestern corner of Costa Rica on the Gulf of Papagayo, according to a company statement.

“We are thrilled to begin the new year announcing our first Radisson Blu in Costa Rica as we continue expanding the brand in Central America,” said Ken Greene, president, Americas, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group in a statement. “This signing shows our commitment to growing Radisson Blu’s presence in key markets throughout the Americas, providing travelers with first class amenities and engaging hospitality through our Yes I CanSM service philosophy.”

Radisson Blu has 300 hotels around the world.
